Here is the tune So Close accompanied by footage from a recent trip down California Route 1. We hit the coast at Santa Cruz and spent nights in Big Sur and Pismo Beach before making our way to Malibu. All of these beautiful locations are featured in the video again created entirely on an iPhone SE. The stunning ocean scenery seemed a perfect fit for a lovesong that returns to this refrain:
As I stared in wide-eyed wonder
While the whole world tumbled down
You looked on, you looked onto me
Then as the waves tried to pull us under
The façade around me crumbled
There you rose just to carry me away
Here is the song Lately accompanied by footage of the awe-inspiring volcanic features of Yellowstone National Park. As these sites epitomize the Earth's raw power with a "face" of exquisite beauty, they seem an appropriate pairing with this loving ode to Mother Nature. The first verse(below) references the neglected and precarious current state of the Earth. The video was created entirely on an iPhone SE.
When the world, she's laid to rest
Looking up from six feet under
And with her all hope and despair are tucked away
For forever and a day
Wondering if it had to go like this
Why can't we see what we've got 'til it's gone?
Now all I miss is her sweet kiss, her warm embrace, her humble song
After many years of hard work and persistence, we were thrilled to release our new album Vibration on December 21st, 2017.
In honor of the shortest day of the year, and the longest night...
The video for Vibration, the title track off of Old Road's new full-length album.
